About - Ernie Hawkins, Jr.

Having started out my professional career in retail operations I've always been able to convey information about a product or solution clearly and effectively. This ability to summarize complex information in a simple, elegant way is mirrored in my design and development work. As a designer/developer hybrid I have the distinct advantage of knowing the opportunities and limitations in most environments. Which, in turn, means I can make quick, educated decisions and execute a plan quickly. I’m a fast learner, a creative and energetic problem-solver, proven successful at initiating and implementing effective systems and procedures. I’m eager to learn and I’m able to quickly master complex environments and operating procedures. My most recent venture, Ticket Spicket, has allowed for huge opportunities to grow both personally and professionally. Working on a remote development team I’m required to be able to translate an opportunity and design a solution quickly and use modern version control (GIT), package managers and build systems. I work well with others in a team environment as a committed leader who is driven to succeed.
